Supervisory Development
WCI's Supervisory Development Institute presents 24 training modules to transform your "doers" into "leaders". These proven and popular programs are offered in four (4) levels that are available in quarterly public classes as well as custom onsite programs.
- SDI-1 develops people skills through 6 modules on personal leadership, roles/responsibilities, situational leadership, communication, motivation, and conflict resolution
- SDI-2 develops management skills through 6 modules on performance coaching, adult learning styles, time management, goal-setting, delegation, and stress management
- SDI-3 develops leadership skills through 6 modules on leadership practices, leading teams, building trust, workforce diversity, harassment prevention, and effective hiring
- SDI-4 develops strategic skills through 6 modules on employment law, change management, strategic planning, project management, intelligent ethics, and legacy-building

HR and manager training
In addition to SDI, WCI offers many more training programs to develop your employees at various levels, provided by our HR Services team. Here's an overview:
- HR management programs focus on compliance and best practices, through four (4) regional HR Seminars, three (3) HR Webinars during summer, and online videos on many topics.
- Several 1-hour onsite training programs for all your managers are available (first hour is free for members), including harassment prevention, interviewing skills, communication skills, conflict resolution, and more.
- Numerous other training topics are available (onsite or virtual), including HR 101, inclusive culture, engagement through respect, emotional intelligence, email etiquette, ethics, do not discriminate/retaliate, opioids in the workplace, and more.
- WCI offers our members complimentary training to educate managers on the dos and don'ts for maintaining a workplace free of organizing issues.

Safety training
Our professional safety trainers can come on your site (or alternate site) to train your employee group on most any safety topic, including:
- OSHA 10- or 30-hour training for general industry or construction
- Powered Industrial Truck or forklift operations and/or train the trainer
- Hazard Communication or Hazwoper 8- 24- or 40-hour training
- First Aid, CPR, AED, BBP certified training
- Lockout Tagout, Confined Space, and many more training programs

ProScan Manager certification
WCI is licensed by PDP (Professional Dynametrics Programs) to provide certified training for your managers to utilize their proven management system:
- ProScan measures employee behavioral traits, decision making and task completion styles, energy metrics, and workplace stress and satisfaction.
- Managers use these assessments to understand what makes their employees tick (and what ticks them off) for customized performance management.
- This program can be provided a la carte (via WCI's PDP account) or through your own company PDP account.
